Individual Membership - $250
Husband and Wife Membership - $425
Parent and Child Membership - $400
Family Membership- Family of Three, Four, or Five - $495
Senior Membership (over 65 years old) - $200
Junior or Student Membership (under 21 years old) - $200
2 or 3 Month Membership is available to high school and college students during the summer months.
Northampton Tennis and Fitness Center does not charge any initiation fees. We never have and we never will.

A Free Fitness Membership

With increased emphasis on preventative health care, many health insurance plan will reimburse their individual participants all or part of the cost of a health club membership, Keystone HMO and Blue Cross Personal Choice are two of the plans that have rebate provisions for health club membership. Why will these health insurance companies help you pay for your membership? They recognize that your participation in a regular program of exercise will, through the years, actually save them money. A physically fit person is a healthier person. Their statistics prove it! Please call your health insurance provider for full details.

Fitness Programs and Services

Your Fitness Center Membership begins with a free one-hour comprehensive health screening, fitness evaluation and a free "one-on-one" training session to each you how to use the Fitness Center Equipment. The health screening covers physiological parameters that the American College of Sports Medicine had determined to be critical for the implementation of a fitness program. In conjunction with the health screening, each member is given a fitness evaluation which covers the following parameters: Resting Heart Rate, Percent Body Fat, Girth Measurements, Flexibility Measurements, Resting Blood Pressure, Endurance, and Strength Measurements.

Using the results of the health screening and fitness evaluation, and exercise program is tailored to meet each individual's fitness goals. Special Programs that are offered to all Fitness Center members include: Weight Loss Programs, Stress Reduction Seminars, Cardiovascular Educational Programs, Backache and Stretching Workshops, Sports Specific Training, and "One-on-One" Personal Training.

The Fitness Center Staff and Trainers

At Northampton Tennis and Fitness Center we strongly believe that the most important fundamental factor for any Fitness Center is the professional qualification, experience, and expertise of the attending staff and trainers. Without professional and knowledgeable instruction, guidance and motivation, in individual's personal goals for optimum physical fitness will not and can not properly be achieved. An outstanding fitness center starts with an outstanding staff.

All our staff members are college educated and professionally trained in exercise physiology. Before you make a decision about a Fitness Center Membership, we encourage you to personally talk with any member of our fitness staff. We are confident that you will quickly acknowledge and recognize their expertise, their professionalism, and their eagerness to personally help you achieve your fitness goals.

Northampton Fitness Center Trainer

Henry Stacheski, M.S. ATC

Henry is a Rehab Specialist with a BS degree from Penn State University in Exercise and Sports Science and Masters Degree from Penn State University in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine. He has worked with the USTA for the past 17 years as an athletic trainer and conditioning specialist. Joe King

Joe King is a National Strength and Conditioning Association certified personal trainer. Joe attended Pennsbury High School and Monmouth University and for the past 16 years has helped in-home personal training clients in Richboro, Newtown, New Hope, and Doylestown. In addition, for the past eight years, Joe has served as an Assistant Football Coach at Central Bucks East and West and at William Tennent. He has created highly successful one-on-one personal health, wellness and development training programs for both adults and aspiring junior athletes. The Heart Rate Room

No part of your body deserves more care an attention than your heart. To help our Fitness Center members to become active and aware caretakers of a healthy heart, we have created the Heart Rate Room. For a healthier heart, the American Medial Association (AMA) recommends that three to four times per week a person should engage in continuous exercise (20-60 minutes) at an intensity level somewhere between 60 to 90% of their maximum heart rate. With its exercise machines and its educational programs on the human cardiovascular system, the Heart Rate Room is intended to elevate your heart rate and lengthen your lifespan! It's a medical face. Exercise can add two to four years to your life.

The Reasons Why You Should Exercise

Our message is simple. Sustaining a healthy lifestyle is a daily ongoing process that requires a regular exercise program, a healthy diet, and a positive attitude. Decades of medical research have conclusively established the health benefits that accompany the physical activity. In July of 2012 the Report of the United States Surgeon General of Physical Activity and Health told all Americans that regular physical activity improves health in the following ways:
