Why On-Site Therapies for Sports Massage?

At On-Site Therapies, our therapists understand that no two massages should be alike. As part of the therapy services, we start with an assessment of the athlete's current physical, emotional, and environmental stressors to tailor the experience to each specific athlete. Our therapists are trained to focus on identifying these key physical and mental restrictions along with the associated stress, fatigue, and pain from poor physical habits and sports related injuries. Upon completion of the initial assessment, we educate and empower the athlete by way of defining and explaining "cause & effect" followed by developing a plan of action to facilitate the process of self-management. Our therapist's goal is to provide the athlete with the understanding of sport-specific body mechanics and muscle engagement. We provide the tools to gain and maintain control of muscle pain at the first sign. This allows the athlete to fully commit to and participate in their own well-being.
